14th October 1935 - 7th April 2008

 

A rose once grew where all could see,
sheltered beside a garden wall,
and as the days passed swiftly by
it spread its branches straight and tall.

One day, a beam of light shone through
a crevice that had opened wide-
The rose bent gently towards its warmth
then passed beyond to the other side.

Now, you who deeply feel its loss, be comforted -
the rose blooms there -
Its beauty even greater now,
Nurtured by gods own loving care.

and to finish in aunt roses last words.....

I'm not asleep, I'm just resting my eyes xx

I miss you both more each day  I loved the time we spent together and stories you told. and doing things together was some of the happiest time I had, you gave me the inspiration for the spiritual world. and buying me sweets and saying don't tell Gran and make sure you eat your tea. love you so much, and i am sure your  both around me all the time

loI miss you so much Gran thank you for all the good grounding you gave me and the cooking lessons time we spent together was some of the most treasured times, and the treats to see the ice shows where you worked always stay with me now like Grandad

You gave me the knowledge of the spiritual side and will always remember what you said "love all as you would like to be loved never judge" i feel you around me like Grandad and that gives me comfort.
